Our Village

Esperanza Village was born from real life, not a boardroom.

We are a husband and wife raising four daughters in a full, busy, multi-generational household. It’s not the traditional setup you see in movies or brochures, but it’s our village and it works. Our home is loud, loving, imperfect, and deeply rooted in caring for one another across generations.

We aren’t rich in money. But we are incredibly rich in love, compassion, resilience, and joy.

I am a Registered Nurse, and for many years my work centered around caring for others at their most vulnerable. Over time, worsening chronic health conditions made it impossible for me to continue hands-on patient care. My husband is a disabled veteran and the full-time stay-at-home parent to our girls. Like many families, we reached a moment where life asked us to pivot.

Opening a business together has always been a dream of ours. And at some point, we realized there was no “perfect time” to wait for. So we leapt. Not because it was easy, but because it felt right.

Esperanza Village is our answer to a gap we kept seeing over and over again. Too many people fall somewhere between fully independent living and licensed care, with no good options in between. Families are left choosing between environments that feel unsafe or ones that feel overwhelming, institutional, or financially crushing.

We offer a middle ground.

Our home provides private rooms, shared community, and thoughtful support without crossing into personal or medical care. We provide three home-cooked meals daily with snacks, dessert and beverages, dietary accommodations, transportation, housekeeping, laundry service, scheduled activities, and a consistent on-site presence 7 days a week 8:00am - 6:00pm. Everything is all-inclusive. No surprise add-ons. No tiered subscriptions. No confusing fee structures that feel more like a cable bill than a home.

We are just getting started, and we’re honest about that. We are committed to continually upgrading and enhancing the home itself as we grow. But one thing will never be “under construction” here: the quality of how people are treated.

We believe five-star service should never be tied to a price tag. Dignity, kindness, and respect are not luxury upgrades. No one should have to pay extra for human decency.

Esperanza Village is not just a place to stay. It’s a place to belong, to feel safe, and to be seen as a whole person. This is our home, our work, and our calling. And we’re honored to open our doors and invite others into our village.

A man and woman sharing a close, intimate moment at a restaurant, with the woman smiling and the man with his eyes closed.
A large group of people, including children, teenagers, adults, and an elderly man, posing together indoors for a photo. Some are making peace signs or funny gestures.
Two women smiling inside a car, one wearing sunglasses and the other holding a drink, with groceries and a partially visible armrest in the background.
Two people standing close together, posing for the photo at night outdoors, with a red and white Sign in the background and string lights overhead.
A girl lying in the backseat of a car, smiling and making a peace sign, with a small white and tan dog lying beside her on the seat.
A woman lying in a hospital bed, smiling, wearing a hair cover, with a friend sitting in a green armchair in a hospital room.
An older man standing outdoors in a parking lot, holding a stick with five fish hanging from it. He is wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, gray shoes, and a black cap. Behind him, there are trees and parked cars.
An elderly woman and a young boy smiling and hugging each other at a home. The elderly woman has gray hair and wears glasses, while the boy has dark, curly hair and is wearing a graphic t-shirt.
A woman and a man are sitting at a wooden table in a restaurant, engaging in a friendly arm-wrestling match, both smiling. The woman wears a green top, and the man wears a black jacket. There are two glasses of water on the table, and the background features abstract wall art with geometric shapes and a dark, swirling pattern.
